JOB SUMMARY- Bartender Supervisor- MetroLagoons is looking for an experienced bartender with management experience to effectively supervise and manage bar operations delivering memorable hospitality to our guests and residents. Develop a team of bartenders that provides great hospitality, while preparing perfect beverages made in a timely manner. Control beverage costs, production, labor and manage beverage quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staff development, training, ongoing feedback and coaching with regards to the business performance expectations.
• Ability to lead a team and promotes and ensures great hospitality.
• Manages bar operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, staff support, Guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
• Oversee daily bar operations and systems, addressing any issues out of alignment promptly.
• Ensures beverage quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, sanitation of food products.
• Manages inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrates responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing beverage products, an inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products and proper par levels to minimize beverage waste and optimize total beverage cost.
• Understands all bar equipment operations and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shift, from product, to equipment, to ambiance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 preferred) Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience and 6-months of bar management (required).
• Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Focus or similar POS system.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends. (Flexible schedule hours will vary)
• Ability to work outside in all-weather elements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
